Solutions to support your infection control strategy

Offering includes collection and return within agreed lead times. All policies and procedures are written in compliance with the most current guidance and legislation and ArjoHuntleigh is audited for consistent quality to Choice Framework for Local Policy and Procedure (CFPP) 01-04 – Decontamination of linen for health and social care: Social Care Manual.

ArjoHuntleigh utilise the services of an independent company (Andersen Caledonia) who swab our laundry facilities and vans on a regular basis to ensure we maintain the highest decontamination standards.

ArjoHuntleigh also use an ATP monitoring system for further validation of our Cleaning and Decontamination Procedures.  Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is an enzyme that is present in all living cells.  An ATP monitoring system can detect the amount of organic matter that remains after cleaning an environmental surface, a medical device or a surgical instrument.  The amount of ATP detected, and where this ATP was detected, indicates areas and items that may need to be reprocessed.

The washing machines used provide electronic records of temperatures and wash durations met. All ArjoHuntleigh technicians are fully trained and wear appropriate protective clothing during the cleaning and decontamination processes.
